ROCKY (MALE)

ROCKY  is an 8 year old  male, white with brindle patches. Rocky and Andy were both in a home where their owner recently passed away.  Rocky is a big, but gentle dog who is easy to handle.

sandy (Female)

sandy is a 6 year old dark brindle female.  She would be better suited in an adult home or in a home with adults and older children. She is very affectionate, quiet natured, and loves "her" people. She is fine with other dogs.

Keggie (Female)

Keggie  is a 3 1/2 year old brindle female.  She is a little reserved.  Keggie  is small dog tolerant. 

AARON (male)  

AARON is an average sized fawn brindle male who will soon turn 3 years old.  He is doing well with an 11 pound rat terrier and did fine with the track's cat.  Aaron loves people and needs a home ready to accept an energetic dog.  A fenced yard is a must for Aaron who will eventually weigh 75-80 pounds.

ANDY (MALE)

ANDY is a 6 year old black male who, along with Rocky, was in a home where their owner recently passed away.  Andy is a large (96 lb) boy who has a lot of personality.

BINGO (FEMALE)

BINGO is a 5 year old black and white female who is very vocal.  Bingo is cat friendly and loves children. Bingo will need several more weeks in foster care before she is ready for her forever home.

KEEGAN (MALE)

KEEGAN is a 2 1/2 year old large red brindle male.  He is a special needs boy who has separation anxiety and is anxious.  He has worked up to being in a crate for 4 hours.  He is going to need a home where his crate time and alone time is minimal.  He is a very loving boy and loves to be with his people.

Katie (F)and BigMan (M)

Katie (7)  and Big man (12)  were originally adopted in Louisiana and are Katrina evacuees whose family had to surrender them here in E. TN due to family distress. They are very “connected” so they will be placed together only. Both are in good health and are happy in their foster home. They are both safe with small dogs (two rescued dashounds in their current home) and are sweet greyhounds. Big Man is very social at Meet & Greets; he goes up to all visiting with a wagging tail and a smile. Katie is very affectionate in a more private way. Hopefully, there is a family out there who can find a place in their heart and home for these two special greyhounds in need. A fenced yard is a must as they enjoy sunbathing and romping with their toys!

BOO (Female)

BOO is an 8 yr old girl who came to us from New Orleans.  Her name Boo, cajun for "sweetheart", fits her perfectly.  Boo is initially timid and shy but warms up quickly.  She loves to be near her family and showers them with kisses.  Boo enjoys meal time very much and is willing to help everyone else clean their bowl.  She enjoys playing in the yard and loves going for walks.  Boo needs a permanent home where she can give and receive lots of love.

CHRISSY (FEMALE)

CHRISSY  is a 4 yr old brindle female who is a very playful, active, and happy dog.  Chrissy is very outgoing but is not small dog or cat friendly.

 ATTA GIRL (female)

Atta Girl is a 4 year old white  female with lots of "ticking" . She is super sweet and is currently adjusting to life as a non-racer.

We are not yet sure about her tendencies toward small animals.

OZZIE (male)

Ozzie is a 9 year old white and brindle male.  He is a big dog who has previously been in a home with children. Ozzie is small animal friendly.
